Baritone Valentin Lanzrein and pianist Wonmin Kim will play a concert with songs by Schubert, Ibert, and Vaughan Williams on the theme of travel, as seen by different cultures, in different epochs. There will also be the Chinese première of a composition for piano by Duke Professor Stephen Jaffe, Impromptu, which will be played along with two of the most renowned Schubert impromptus, and the world première of a set of short compositions by DKU Senior Jiaqi Ling, Three Life Moments.
