DKU Major Fair was held on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

With more than 100 students attending the fair, the event provided students with an opportunity to explore the DKU academic offerings, learn more about different majors, and engage directly with faculty members representing their programs.

The fair featured five majors and tracks within A&H: Art and Media, Computation and Design (Digital Media Track), Global China Studies, Humanities, and Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE).

Through conversations with professors, students had the opportunity to learn more about these programs, explore their academic options, and ask questions relevant to their interests and potential major choices.

A&H’s five majors and tracks offer students different ways to explore artistic expression, digital technologies, and the relationships between political and economic systems.

Throughout the fair, students, mostly freshman and sophomore, can visit different A&H tables to learn more about the academic programs and discuss their options within the Arts and Humanities.

Conversations focused on several aspects of major selection, including course offerings, academic requirements, the process of choosing a major, and potential research and career opportunities.

Faculty members introduced their respective programs and provided information to help students better understand the academic pathways available to them.

Together, these programs demonstrate the breadth of academic interests that can be pursued within Arts and Humanities.

Although each major has its own disciplinary focus and methods of inquiry, they offer complementary approaches to understanding people, cultures, societies, ideas, and contemporary challenges.

Their representation at the Major Fair enabled students to explore the range of options within the Arts and Humanities.
